Privacy Awareness Week (PAW) is an initiative of the Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities forum (APPA) held every year to promote awareness of privacy issues and the importance of the protection of personal information. Activities are held across the Asia Pacific region by APPA members. Find out what other APPA members are doing.
Privacy Awareness Week 2013 was held from 28 April to 4 May 2013.
The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) celebrated PAW with a series of events and the release of new privacy guidance and products. The focus for PAW 2013 was privacy law reform as businesses, agencies, individuals and non-profits prepare for the new laws.
