OAIC Remuneration Determination 2022
1. Section 9
Repeal the section, substitute:
9. Second annual adjustment of salary and allowances
- Employees’ salaries are adjusted by 3.00%, with effect on 13 May 2023.
- Each adjustment is to be calculated based on the salary immediately before the adjustment under subsection (1).
- First Aid Officer, Health and Safety Representative, Fire Warden and Harassment Contact Officer allowances are adjusted by the same percentage as salaries, with effect on 13 May 2023.
- Each adjustment of an allowance is to be calculated based on the allowance immediately before the adjustment under subsection (3).
- Schedule 1 has effect.
- Employees who have a salary above the maximum of the relevant salary range for their classification set out in Table A, Column 4 of Schedule 1 may receive the adjustment under subsection (1) as determined by the Australian Information Commissioner.
- This section has effect despite section 8.
