Correction of errors in the OAIC Annual Report 2010–11

Two errors appeared in the Annual Report 2010–11.

On page 6, the Annual Report omitted the OAIC’s Outcome for 2010–11. The report should have read that the OAIC had one specified outcome for the period: ‘Provision of public access to Commonwealth Government information, protection of individuals’ personal information, and performance of information commissioner, freedom of information and privacy functions.’

On page 54 the report said the OAIC had received 201 media enquiries. Of these, 105 were from print media, 43 from radio stations, 12 from television and 41 from news sites. The report should have stated that the OAIC received 96 from print media, 17 from television, 36 from radio stations and 52 from news websites.

The correct version of the OAIC’s 2010–11 Annual Report is available at www.oaic.gov.au/publications/reports.html.
