National Consumer Fraud Week

Did you know that identity theft is now one of the most common crimes in Australia? Identity theft involves scammers stealing your personal information to commit fraudulent activities, like opening accounts in your name, or making unauthorised purchases on your credit card.

During National Consumer Fraud Week (18–24 May 2015), learn how to keep your personal information safe from scammers, protect your privacy and prevent identity theft from happening to you.
