OAIC to visit Adelaide

Adelaide is the latest city the OAIC will visit as part of its national calendar of privacy events.

OAIC x Uni of Adelaide privacy discussion. Wednesday 18 October 2017. Time: 5.30pm - 6.30pm. Venue: The University of Adelaide.

On Wednesday 18 October, the OAIC and the University of Adelaide are co-hosting a free privacy, law and media panel discussion. Aimed at law professionals, students and anyone interested in privacy, the panel will be discussing questions surrounding privacy and ethics. The expert line-up includes:

  • Andrew Solomon, Assistant Commissioner at the OAIC
  • Professor Melissa de Zwart, Dean of Law at the University of Adelaide
  • Dr Sal Humphreys, Senior Lecturer, Media at the University of Adelaide
  • Brooke Hall-Carney, Principal at Lipman Karas
  • Dr Judith Bannister, Associate Professor at the School of Law, University of Adelaide

Professor Annette Braunack-Mayer, Professor in Health Ethics at the University of Adelaide, will moderate the discussion.
