We’ve launched a new website for the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) to make it easier for users to find the information they need.
The new site features improved search functionality, design and navigation, in response to user feedback.
The launch follows a beta trial of the new site, which was positively received. We logged almost 1,200 visits during the three-week test period with more than 4,800 unique page views:
96% of responses rated the beta website as ‘good’ or ‘ok’
Was content findable? 42 out of 48 responses said yes
Was content useful? 43 out of 50 responses said yes
As part of the move to our new site some links have changed and pages you have bookmarked may no longer work. The new site also has enhanced security settings and does not support TLS 1.0 and 1.1.
