Acting Australian Information Commissioner opens the 2015 iappANZ Summit
This month Acting Australian Information Commissioner, Timothy Pilgrim, opened the annual International Association of Privacy Professionals Australia & New Zealand (iappANZ) Summit in Melbourne, and took the opportunity to highlight international privacy developments that will impact how business, government and the OAIC approach privacy and data protection.
Many of these developments were explored during the 37th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners, which the Commissioner had recently attended, and iappANZ presented an excellent forum to relay international events that will affect global privacy practices.
