I, Elizabeth Tydd,

Australian Information Commissioner, as principal officer of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, authorise the following arrangements under section 23(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 1982. I revoke all previous authorisation instruments.

I authorise all individuals holding, occupying or performing the duties of the positions in column 1, to exercise all my powers and functions in relation to decisions on Freedom of Information requests received by the Office under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 as set out in column 2.

This authorisation includes, but is not limited to, powers and functions relating to:

• Processing and deciding of requests for access to documents under section 15 of the FOI Act
• Making decisions on charges under the Freedom of Information (Charges). Regulations 2019
• Making decisions on application or amendment or annotation of personal records under section 48
• Conducting internal reviews under section 54.
