The Australian Information Commissioner can make determinations under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) to exempt documents from publication either through the Information Publication Scheme (IPS) or the FOI Disclosure Log.

The effect of this determination by the Information Commissioner is that agencies and Ministers are not required to publish information prescribed by the determination, in their disclosure log.
